ToolMelt

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 5, 2026

Overview

ToolMelt (toolmelt.com) is a collection of free online tools. This policy explains what data is processed when you use the site, and — just as importantly — what is not.

Your input never leaves your device

Every tool on ToolMelt (formatters, converters, generators, decoders) processes your input locally in your browser using JavaScript. Text, files, PDFs, images and passwords you enter are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We have no user accounts and no databases.

Server logs

The site is served via Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. These logs are not used to identify you and are not sold or shared.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-preserving: it does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal data.

Advertising and cookies

ToolMelt itself does not set tracking cookies. If advertising is enabled in the future, the following applies:

Your rights

Because ToolMelt collects no personal data through the tools, there is generally nothing to access, correct or delete. If you are in the EEA, UK or California and have questions about data processed by our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare, and Google if ads are enabled), contact us and we will help route your request.

Children's privacy

The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date.
